Camerata Tinta Barocca, founded by Quentin Crida in July 2004, is a baroque ensemble
of string players with harpsichord. (The name is derived from the musicians'
passion for baroque music and red wine...) Our members include some of Cape Town's
finest musicians. Our concerts have met with critical acclaim in the Cape Times
and Die Burger, and have been broadcast on Fine Music Radio.

Playing music almost exclusively from the baroque era, we invite soloists to perform
with us in oratorios as well as in wind, keyboard, and string concertos.
